I choose this image as I liked the pose she was standing in as well as the backdrop of the tree with fallen petals surrounding the ground she was standing. I feel I captured my perspective of Norman Hartnell this image looks elegant  and i felt I captured Norman Hartnell work.

Day of shoot..

Last Friday morning 10th May was the day of photo shoot  Early morning 10 am started on hair and make -up on model. The make -up was very simple with light foundation coverage, eye make-up smoky brown beige tones with bronzed cheeks. The models hair was straightened  then put into a side fish tail plait once both hair and make-up was done I the styled the model in wedding dress which I had to pin at the back making sure it was a right fit worn with skin tone kitten heels and feather throw over shoulders. We then set of to the location which was a 10 minute walk around the corner and was a bonus the weather was nice sunny.

I choose to use the garden local in Worthing as it fit well with my shot and the day of the shot the weather was nice as the sun was out.

Wardrobe Shoot..

A Feather white throw over shoulders from Monsoon with a pair of silver dangle earrings. Long strapped floor length wedding dress with embroidered beads around the chest area.

Location Ideas...

    

 A local catholic church in Worthing built with a mixture of stone brick walls, stain glass windows and large brown wooden doors with stairs leading up to it and railing surrounded it .

Second location..

    Another location I looked at was a lanscape garden also in Worthing with a large green surface area with decorative flowers around the outset with a lovely water feature.  A stunning location for a sunny day

Third Location..

Photography studio I felt would work well for my shoot for the backdrop as its very simple yet effective and feel would work well with the style of the shoot and be able to get that classic elegant shot.

  Here's a few ideas I had for hair & make-up looks. I like the idea of slicked back hair in a pony tail, bun or a French plaits showing off the neck/jaw line and also focusing on the dress and flawless make up. The make -up I liked as its very light concealer coverage with nude tones and glow defining the cheek bones and eye make-up to get that fresh face look

Also looked at Chanel Runway – Paris Fashion Week Haute-Couture Spring/Summer 2013. Not only did I like the dresses but really love the hair and make-up combination with feather capes and feather hair accessories.The dark feather black eye make-up detail I think works well and adds an edgy feel.

 

 Looked at Spring/Summer 2013 at Elle Saab's couture collection. Floor length ball gowns embroidered and embellished from head to toe crystals, white lace flowers  and strewn between splashes of iridescent silver using a mix of white lavender, fuchsia, faded red, black and baby blue.

I like that the dresses complement and embrace the feminine figure in such an elegant way and feel its such a  pretty collection with simple slick back hair and natural tone 
make-up.
